Hello Gregorio.
Hello Gregorio is a four-piece pop-punk/alternative band from the foothills of North Carolina. They formed in 2010 from two previous bands (Cold Feet and Hands of Jest, respectively) that dissolved away halfway through their high sophomore years. They are currently on the rise in the punk pop scene and hope to continue rising up to the ranks of bands such as The Starting Line, or Better Luck Next Time.

Beginning:
Hello Gregorio began when Watson Anderson, the bassist for Hands of Jest, showed up at his school's gym for practice for the upcoming talent show. It was one o' clock, which was the time his band was scheduled to practice at. But apparently, Aaron Thompson, the guitarist for Cold Feet, was told the exact same thing. The two bands had a history of discontent with each other, which only caused immediate tension between the two when they spotted each other. "I remember just asking him politely to leave", Said Watson, "He just basically called me a newbie, and that's when I threw my pick at him." However, the pick never hit Aaron, much thanks to gravity. In response, Aaron kicked over Watson's bass case, and called him "irrelevant", because basses are too low. Watson angrily kicked over Aaron's guitar case and called him "stupid", because he was just stupid. Before they could both do anything, Watson got a text from the lead singer of Hand of Jest that stated he was moving away and couldn't perform as the lead singer. "That was a very depressing moment for me," Watson stated. "It was my first band that I actually wanted to stay in, and we only lasted a year!" Aaron saw the text and began to laugh at him. When suddenly, he also got a text from the lead singer of his band, who said he and the bassist were kicking him and drummer Jerry Fink out of their band because they were insults to their image. By then, both Aaron and Watson were both out of next moves.
Formation:
Two weeks after Hands of Jest and Cold Feet split, Aaron and Watson again ran into each other in the school hallways. This time, Aaron had Jerry with him, and Watson had his best friend Echo Wilhelm, who was also the guitarist for Hands of Jest. Aaron and Jerry were both in a conversation, bashing the band Paramore, and their lead singer Hayley Williams. Watson and Echo were walking by, and happened to hear the conversation. Watson joined in the conversation, agreeing with Aaron and Jerry for the first time ever. Echo, however, was the only person who disagreed with all of them, because he has a secret obsession with Hayley Williams.
That is when Jerry actually said something; an idea to make a band that was better than Paramore. Aaron and Watson quickly agreed, but Echo was hesitant. "No band is better than Paramore, seriously." Said Echo. Fortunately, Echo is very gullible, and Watson swindled him into joining three minutes later.
The first band practice was when Watson decided to take over lead vocals. His inspiration, Kenny Vasoli, is also a bassist/singer, and he wanted to take a shot at it. He sang one note into the microphone, and everyone immediately made him lead singer. Aaron also sings on some of the band's songs.

Origin of Name:
The band's name comes from Echo's turtle, Gregorio. Since band practice always took place at Echo's house, the boys got to see his turtle often. Watson described it as, "a pretty laid back turltle with an easygoing attitude".
Influences:
Better Luck Next Time, The Starting Line, The Almost, Weezer, Paramore (Echo only)
